Sand sculptures at the beach

Room 4 have been learning about writing recounts. We went to the beach on Thursday and all wrote a recount when we returned to school.

Today Rooms 4, 5, 6 all went to the beach make sand sculptures. First I dug sand for Carl and Luca. Then I made a skeleton and a Halloween pumpkin. After that I got sticks for Carl. Finally we went back to schooled had morning tea. I loved it because we had so much fun.

This morning we went to the beach. First I made a sea mermaid. Then I helped India make her Barbie sculpture. Bell found a crystal. She gave it to me.Finally we went on the sculpture. Then we went back to school. I loved going to the beach because I made a sculpture.

Week 1

What a great start we have had to term 4. The weather has been sunny and warm and everyone is very happy to be back at school.
We have a new student in Room 4. Simon has moved from Cashmere School and before that his family moved to NZ from Hungary. A big welcome to Simon and his family. We are also thrilled to welcome Ms Ribeiro back to Room 4. She will be with us for four weeks.







Mr Waddles has a new family!






At Discovery Time today we were very busy creating, dancing and building.
