Wacky Hair and PJ Day

We had a crazy day at school on Friday 13th. We came to school with wacky hair and our pjs on.


It was heaps of fun because we all looked WACKY!!!!!

Hedgehog Fun!

Some of us read a book called 'Hedgehog Fun'. We thought it would be a great idea to make our own hedgehogs - ones that we could eat! We used pineapple lumps, marshmallows, celery (not many of us liked that), grapes, and oranges with cloves for the eyes. They were delicious!

Catch up

Here are some photos to show what's been happening in Room 4 lately.
We were very proud as our class won the best dressed window on Book Week. Here we are in front of our window.


- Mimi and India also won the prize for the best bookmarks in the junior school. Well done girls.


Two weeks ago we farewelled Benjamin with a party. Lots of lovely food including a 'Goodbye Ben' cake.

Book week

What a busy week we have all had this week with lots of activities and visitors for Book Week. We loved reading our favourite books.


Some students from Van Asch Deaf Education Centre visited and read(signed) a book to us. They also taught us lots of signs. We now know how to sign the colours and the alphabet.



On Friday we had a big book parade where we all dressed up as a book character. It was fantastic! We had lots of fun.

Happy Easter!

We had a great last day of term today. The whole day was Easter Day where we all did lots of fun Easter activities. We also got our photo taken with the SURFER penguin Mr Cameron is taking with him on his trip around the world. Look out for him in Mr Cameron's photos on his blog. Can you see him in our class photo?

Fluffy birds

Fluffy Birds by India
The day before yesterday I taught the class to make a paper bird. There were some lovely birds and some fluffy birds. I really liked Leon's bird because it was really fluffy and cute.

The gruffalo

We were very proud of ourselves at assembly on Monday.














First we were judged the best singing team, then our room won the recycling award and finally we showed the school our paintings of the Gruffalo. What a great day!
